Help Chris raise money

Hi Everyone,

I am newly retired (Yea!)  and, once again, "running" for Independence House in the Falmouth Road Race.  This will be my 15th year and maybe my last, we'll have to see how the next 12 months go. :)  Each of you have supported me over the years and I thank you for all your financial donations to Independence House!  And I am asking you to consider making a donation, again, this year.  Independence House continues to expand its services and support groups.  They have presence in the schools with healthy relationship workshops, knowing that we need to raise a generation that will solve conflicts without violence.  To continue ongoing presence in the community, this year they introduced "Courage Unleashed,"  a traveling art exhibit with submissions by survivors.  The exhibit moves each month to another venue, reaching most towns on the Cape.  In addition, to promote prevention and community member's involvement, they facilitate a 5 week curriculum, Pathways to Prevention.  If you are interested in learning more about that, contact Emily Earl @ emilye@indhouse.net or Jenny Broder @ jennyb@indhouse.net

And great news for Independence House counselors and clients, a federal grant made it possible to have a new building built, strictly for counseling!  The grand opening for the public will be in October.  So be on the lookout.
