I'm running for Clean Water in the 2026 Falmouth Road Race!

A little less than a year ago, my wife and I relocated to Southern Massachusetts so that I could work for the Buzzards Bay Coalition, a nonprofit dedicated to the protection, restoration, sustainable use, and enjoyment of Buzzards Bay, Vineyard Sound and their coastal watersheds.

Quickly I came to realize that the Coalition serves as a gateway to the wonders of our local environment-providing access for people of all ages and backgrounds, expanding horizons for youth, and fostering a lifelong connection to nature. If you haven't been here before, I urge you to swing on by and pay us a visit.

Beginning a new chapter and starting a new home away from home can be daunting. Thankfully, through friends, colleagues, and family, the support has been invigorating. Now, as we're fully settled, a lot of that support comes intangibly from the forests, marshes, beaches and waters I now call home. For so many, this region brings opportunity and wonder. Would you join me in supporting this great cause as I run the Falmouth Road Race in support of the Coalition's mission to protect clean water?

Description

On Sunday, August 16th, I'll be running the Falmouth Road Race with Team Buzzards Bay. Together, we'll cover 7 miles and raise funds to support the Buzzards Bay Coalition, demonstrating our dedication to protecting clean water in Buzzards Bay and beyond.

Will you support my run by making a gift today?  Your donation will directly support the Buzzards Bay Coalition's tireless efforts in land protection, scientific research, advocacy, and fostering outdoor exploration.

Large or small, every contribution advances work made all the more urgent because of the impacts of climate change - including warming waters and rising sea levels. Thank you for helping me reach my goal.
