Help Kristofer raise money

For the past 12 years, Parkinson’s disease and alpha synuclein-related neurodegenerative diseases have played an unfortunate and major role in my life. For most of my adult life, my dad was battling Parkinson’s disease. Since I graduated college up until he passed away over the summer of 2025, he fought like hell. Thanks to the support of his medical team, 110 Fitness, the Parkinson’s Foundation, and family and friends, he was well equipped to put up a good fight. 

After 10 years of supporting my dad in his illness, my mom found herself in a fight of her own. Multisystem Atrophy (MSA), is another alpha synuclein-related neurodegenerative disease and it robbed her of her ability to use her arms, legs, voice, and eventually her life this past month.

I am running the Falmouth road race to help raise money for the Parkinson’s foundation and to honor my dad and everything he fought to hold onto. I’ll be running along side my wife and some of the incredible women that make up Team Maureen, a group of family friends who have risen the to the occasion to support the Andren family. They are truly inspirational and I want to draw attention to everything they have done over the past 4-5 years through both of my parents illnesses.
