Help Ann raise money

Running the Falmouth Road Race has been on my bucket list for a long time. This year I had an extra incentive. Having just celebrated a birthday containing multiple sevens, running the only 7-mile race I know of was in order, so I decided to join the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, New England chapter, fundraising team. As a lifelong runner and an asthma sufferer with more allergies than I can count, this seemed a perfect match. I was especially impressed by AAFANE's advocacy to get more establishments to have Epi-pens available, because I discovered my mollusk allergy by going into full-scale anaphylactic shock in Provincetown, years before the advent of urgent care clinics, and 40 miles from the nearest emergency room. I'm alive today only because someone pointed me to the home of a retired doctor who took one look at me and immediately grabbed an Epi-pen. I would love your help in supporting this valuable organization. I can't promise to run fast (those days are long behind me), but I can promise to do everything I can to finish the race -- with the help of my trusty asthma inhaler. 

Update: the race more than lived up to expectations, and I am beyond grateful for the contributions I have allready received -- in this summer of sevens, I am now less than $700 from my $7,000 goal
