My Story…
Hi, Iโm David Lopes โ a runner ๐โโ๏ธ, father of two amazing girls ๐ง๐ง, and passionate advocate for sports and community ๐ค. This year, Iโm excited to run the Falmouth Road Race ๐ on behalf of Bay State Games, an organization that champions youth athletics across Massachusetts ๐.
Running has always been a big part of my life, and itโs even more meaningful now as I share it with my daughters โค๏ธ. Inspired by the importance of community and access in sports, I founded Ardsley ๐๏ธ, a womenโs sporting goods shop based in Watertown, MA, the President of Watertown Running Club ๐, a welcoming space for runners of all levels, and a paralegal at Alloy Therapeutics, Inc., a business that empowers scientists with foundational drug discovery platforms and services.
Iโm proud to represent Bay State Games and all the young athletes they support โ and Iโm looking forward to crossing that Falmouth finish line ๐ with them in mind!
