Hey Everyone!!!!

I am proud to share that I am running the 2026 Asics Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, August 16th to support the Alzheimer's Association! 

I have seen the devastating effects of this horrible disease. I am running for my Nana, who has been deeply impacted by this disease. 

She is my role model and weekend companion, and bravely fighting this rapid growing disease. It is truly devastating to witness. 

 I am also running to honor the caregivers and families going through this. My dad continues to care for my Nana and support her in every way possible. His patience and strength through this difficult diagnose is admirable and I proudly run alongside him.

 My Nana was diagnosed with dementia and watching her memory slowly fade over the years, and more drastically in recent months, has been nothing short of difficult. Some days are harder than others, but our family keeps showing up, as she always did in our family and her community. 

This disease deeply impacts everyone involved, it is devastating witnessing someone you love become a different version of themselves. Through it all, my Nana's warmth and gentle spirit continue to shine. 

This cause is urgent;

- More than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s.

- Over 12 million people provide unpaid care, often emotionally and financially exhausting. 

- It kills more than breast and prostate cancer combined.

- 1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or another dementia.

- Two-thirds of those diagnosed are women.

These aren't just numbers, but they are people. Family. Friends. Loved Ones. 

I am running for my Nana, for my dad, and the strength of our family. Most importantly, I am running with hope, for the first survivor of Alzheimer's.
