 I'm raising money for the Alzheimer's Association because this fight has become deeply personal.

My mother is living with dementia, and watching someone you love slowly fade away—losing memories, pieces of their personality, and moments that once defined them—is something no family should ever have to experience.

Dementia doesn't just affect the person diagnosed. It changes entire families. It turns children into caregivers, creates impossible decisions, and leaves loved ones grieving someone who is still here.

The reality is staggering:

More than 7 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer's disease.

Nearly 13 million Americans provide unpaid care for loved ones with Alzheimer's or other dementias.

In 2025 alone, those caregivers provided more than 19 billion hours of unpaid care, valued at over $446 billion. AAlzheimer’s Association

These numbers are enormous—but behind every statistic is a family like mine.

I'm supporting the Alzheimer's Association because they fund critical research, provide support for caregivers, and work tirelessly toward better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
