My Story…
Three years ago, my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
Since then, I’ve watched one of the strongest men I know face a battle that no one should have to endure. Every year brings new challenges, but through it all, he continues to fight with incredible courage.
As his son, I’ve had the privilege of standing beside him every step of the way; Scheduling doctors appointments, taking him wherever he needs to go, and doing everything I can to make this journey a little easier. He spent his life taking care of our family. Now it’s my turn to take care of him.
When I learned about Punch 4 Parkinsons, I knew it was the team I wanted to represent. Their mission is to empower those living with Parkinson’s through movement, strength, hope, and community—turning those affected by Parkinson’s into warriors. That mission reminds me of my dad. Every single day, despite this disease, he continues to show me what a true warrior looks like.
Running has become one of the biggest passions in my life, but this race is about something far greater than a finish time.
I’m running for my dad.
I’m running for every husband, wife, son, daughter, friend, and caregiver whose lives have been changed by Parkinson’s disease.
I’m running to help Punch 4 Parkinson’s continue providing life-changing programs that give people living with Parkinson’s the opportunity to fight back with strength, determination, and hope.
My goal is to raise $1,500, and every donation—no matter the amount—will directly support this incredible mission.
Thank you for supporting me, for supporting Punch 4 Parkinson’s, and for standing with families like mine in the fight against Parkinson’s.
