I'm running the Falmouth Road Race to END ALZ!

Hello!

This is the second year I am running the Falmouth Road Race in honor of my grandmother, Molly Stanley.

Gran passed away in 2022 after living with Alzheimer's for a few years. Anyone who knew Gran knows that she adored her grandchildren (especially Vic who was her favorite). Watching her slowly forget our faces when we would visit was devastating for us to witness, but even more so for her to realize. The glimmers of recognition brought us hope, but we knew that with little in the way of treatment or cure for the disease, we would eventually become strangers to Gran. I'm running to fuel research that will hopefully make this less common of a story for others.

Last year I ran alongside my sister, Vic, and my husband, Tim. Together we raised almost $15k (!!!), which went directly to Alzheimer's and dementia research. This year I am running alone so I need your help more than ever! Thank you in advance for your support <3
