My Story…
This year, I’m proud to be running the Falmouth Road Race in support of Girls on the Run! After volunteering with Girls on the Run a few times in the last two years, I’ve seen firsthand how this program helps girls build confidence, develop healthy habits, and discover that they are capable of achieving amazing things, both in running and in all their endeavors. (Solidified after watching these fearless girls run in a torrential downpour in May!)
I am proud to be running my first Falmouth Road Race for Girls on the Run. It is a meaningful way for me to be able to give back to a program that means so much to my community.
Every donation, no matter the amount, helps Girls on the Run provide scholarships, train coaches, and ensure more girls have the opportunity to participate.
Thank you so much for supporting me and helping Girls on the Run inspire the next generation of confident, joyful, and empowered girls!
Description
Girls on the Run is more than a running program. Through GOTR's program, trained coaches implement the research-based curriculum that builds lifelong healthy habits. Girls learn the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of physical activity, as well as tools for navigating the challenges of adolescence. Each season concludes with a 5K event where the girls run at their own pace, giving them a sense of achievement and a framework for setting and achieving life goals.
