SMA 5k Frequently Asked Questions
- Where / when do I pick up my bib? Friday afternoon, April 17, 4:15-6pm, or Saturday morning April 18, 7:00-8:45 am at St. Mary Academy.
- May I pick it up for a friend or relative? Yes
- Can I register on race day? Yes, registration starts at 7:00am, it is $30 day of race and $25 preregistration.
- What time should I arrive for the race? The race starts at 9:00am, you can arrive any time after 7:00 am.
- Where does the race start / finish? Saint Mary Academy, 222 Central Ave Dover.
- Can I participate with a stroller? Yes, please start at the back of the pack.
- Is there a water stop on the course? Yes
- Can I run with my dog? Although we love pets, we cannot allow them on the course.
- Can I participate with headphones? It is strongly discouraged due to safety issues.
- Are there bathrooms at the race? Yes
- May I get a refund if I don’t run? No refunds or transfers allowed. Also, no shirts will be mailed after the race.
- Is the race “chip timed?” Yes, you will get a “net” time and a “gun” time.
- Are there awards? Yes, top 3 runners overall will receive cash prizes and top 3 runners in age group by male/ female will receive prizes.
- Are there snacks or drinks provided after the race? Yes, in our parking lot after the race or in the gym if it is raining.
- Parking? Parking is available on side streets.
