The TD3 Love Your Heart 5K Walk/Run celebrates Tempe Elementary Schools wellness initiatives. The event is sponsored by the Tempe Elementary Education Association (TEEA) and features our Nutrition Services Department, Student Athletics, Student Support, KidZone, and the Tempe Police Department.
This year's race will feature school mascots, student volunteers, and student National Junior Honor Society volunteers from Fees and Mosley.
We are excited to have you join us at our 5th annual district 5K event!
Proceeds from the event will provide additional health and wellness services, programs and incentives for Tempe Elementary employees.
Participants ages 18 and under will receive student pricing.

Please note that there will be ongoing construction taking place at Kiwanis Park during this event. The course will not be affected but the splash pad and bathroom pavilion will be closed. Portable restrooms will be on site for participants to utilize.

To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form! Please make check payable to StartLine Racing. If you choose to mail in your registration you do not need to pay the online processing fees.
Virtual Registration
Can't make it to this year's event but still want to participate? This event features a virtual option. A virtual race is a race that can be ran at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race. You can run your race at your pace wherever you like. All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event dri-fit tech t-shirt. Please note that your shirt and medal will be mailed out following the event on February 14, 2026. Prior to the event all virtual participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your time.
Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only. If you reside outside of the US and wish to participate please contact StartLine Racing at info@startlineracing.com
Family/Team Discount
Register a team/family of at least 4 participants and receive $4 off each registration! All participants must register and create a team at the same time to receive this discount. Discount only applies to teams with at least 4 members. This is perfect for parents and children who want to run/walk this event together!
All Participants Receive:
- Custom Event Finisher's Medal for all participants
- Custom Event Dri-Fit Tech T-Shirt for all participants. Option to select 'No Shirt' and receive $5 off your registration
- Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups for the 5K distance only. Our age groups are the following:
- 8 & Under, 9 & 10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over
- Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)
- Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google)
- Managed by StartLine Racing. Club SLR discounts do not apply.
- Please note any race related items (shirts, medals, etc.) will NOT be mailed to those that do not attend.

Race Day Information
- Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 7:00am at Kiwanis Park.
- We accept cash, and credit cards on race day (checks are no longer accepted)
- Cost of registration on race day will be $45 for adults and $30 for children/students/seniors.
- We welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons.
- No roller blades/skates, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses.
- Leashed pet and walker friendly
- We run rain or shine. There are no refunds due to weather.
