5K On The RUNway is back! Racers will take to the runway for a flat, fast 5K at Bishop International Airport.
IMPORTANT: Any spectator that plans to attend MUST pre-register
in order to enter Bishop International Airport.
To pre-register, select the Spectator Pass event option.

How To Enter & Exit Bishop International Airport
- Pick up your race bib OR spectator pass at one of our packet pickups Friday, 10/02 or Saturday, 10/03.
- *IMPORTANT: Online registration closes on Wednesday, September 30th at 6:00pm due to airport security reasons. There is no late or race-day registration available!
- In order to make things easier on race morning, we will have all participants enter and exit the airport using an MTA shuttle that will be stationed at the Genesee Career Institute. This is where all event parking will be. Here's how it will work:
- Participants can pick up their race bib on Friday, 10/02 (12PM-6PM, at the Crim Office 719 Harrison St) or Saturday morning, 10/03 at the Genesee Career Institute (5081 Torrey Rd) .
- Participants must present their bib, along with a form of ID, at the pre-shuttle airport security check. Treat the event like you're boarding a flight:
- Clear bags only! All other belongings must remain in your car. Gear Check is available at both Genesee Career Institute and at the start line for those who have taken a clear bag through security.
- No weapons, fireworks, etc.
- Water bottles are okay as long as they are see-through.
- After going through security, participants will be able to board the shuttle and will be dropped off in our pre/post-race area by the runway. The shuttle ride takes less than 5 minutes.
- After the race, participants can board the shuttle to return to Genesee Career Institute to enjoy the post-race fun with cider, donuts, and more! Keep in mind, there will only be water at the finish line (we are not able to have aid stations on the course, but there will be water at the finish line). All other food will be at the post-race party at Genesee Career Institute!
- Security check will be open from 7:45am - 9:45am.
- Shuttles will start at 8:15AM and end at 9:45AM. Shuttles will begin making return trips at 10:30AM to take participants back to the party and their vehicles.

Registration for this division means the participant is not eligible for overall or age group awards. Participants entering the non-competitive walk will receive all race amenities the same as other registration divisions (shirt, medal, post-race food, etc.).
