Did you know that by simply learning some of the basic fundamentals of running, along with a proper warm-up, you can become a faster runner and incur fewer injuries??
The MRA, in association with its Bison Track Team Coaches, has developed a program of workouts specifically designed for road runners, whether you're new to the sport or have been training and racing for years.
Workouts will be held once a week on Thursdays 7:00-8:30pm at the James Daly Fieldhouse, Max Bell, University of Manitoba, from January 8 to April 30, 2026 (12 sessions). There will be NO training on February 26th, March 5th, March 19th, March 26th or April 9th.
Coaches will be Matt Van Schepdael & Calvin Reimer, middle distance specialists with the U of M Bison Track Team.
