After Party

After Party at AEGIR Brewing Co!
After the race, join us across the street at AEGIR Brewing Co for our annual after party. All race participants receive a free beverage, and entry into door prize drawings. The Brick Oven Bus food truck will be available beginning at 11am.
With the drink ticket on your race bib you can choose:
- Raglan Red
- Multipass IPA
- Light Beer with Fruit
- Cools
- Johnny Tarr with Coffee
- Snowbird seltzer
- Soda
Costume Contest!
Will you be one of our best dressed?
Walk our green carpet for the judges! 8:30-9:30 in the CAER Garage.
Winners will be announced at 9:55 at the start line!
Food Donations!
March is Minnesota Food Share Month, and we have a goal of collecting 70,000 pounds of food!
Bins will be available outside of the check in area to place items in.

Race Details and FAQs
- Check In opens at 8:30 am on race day.
- Day of registration is available. $50 cash or pay online.
- Photo area and optional costume judging will be available before the race.
- Restrooms available in CAER, and also portable restrooms will be available in the CAER parking lot.
- The course is an out and back. Please stay to the right of the path.
- Runners line up first
- Water will be available at the turnaround point, water and snacks at the finish line at CAER
- The course closes at 11:30am
Can I bring my dog? Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome.
Can I bring my kids in a stroller? Yes! Strollers and children are welcome at this family friendly event. Please stay to the right.
Parking Details
Parking for race participants is at Meadowvale Elementary. Be sure to turn at Vernon Street because the turn at Watson will be closed. Watch for signs.

Register by March 1, 2026 to receive a T-Shirt!
You must now register by March 1, 2026 to receive the exclusive event tee shirt. Tee shirts will not be available for registrations received March 2 and later.
Cancellation Policy
The Trot O' Gold 5k for CAER is a fundraiser where 100% of proceeds benefit CAER Food Shelf. If cancellation is required due to inclement weather or other instance, all proceeds will be directed to CAER Food Shelf, no refunds will be offered. Event tee shirts will be available for pickup by participants.
