Countdown to event
The first event of the Subaru Triathlon Series and one of the first outdoor Triathlons in Ontario to kick off the season! The event is based out of Kelso Conservation Area, with the swim and run routes all within the park and the bike on local roads. Please note that due to road construction and changes in the area, that there will be some adjustments to the bike and run courses. The sprint courses will be: 750m Swim, 28km Bike and 5km Run.
Unfortunately, due to timing and logistical issues due to changes in the area, the Try-A-Tri will not be taking place this year.

Event Schedule/Maps
On Race Morning - Athlete entry has already been paid by Trisport Events. Family and friends will have to pay regular gate fees. The fees paid go to the Kelso Conservation Area. Athletes please enter the Main Gate at Kelso and you will be directed where to park.
Please note: Spectators will NOT be able to leave the park between 9:15am and 10:00am while the Sprint bikes are heading out.
Sunday June 7, 2026
All participants and spectators must be in the park by 8:30 am. If you are not in the park by 8:30am you will get held up at the gate. Follow parking signs and enter the front gate. Athletes park entrance fee is covered but spectators must pay own entrance fee.
