Donut Dash Ate-teen

18th year of 4 miles & 4 donuts benefiting Child Life Programs in Sacramento Children's Hospitals

Every March the Donut Dash is held in Land Park with a stop at Marie’s Donuts. Participants start in Land Park then run, jog, or walk 2 miles to Marie’s Donuts. At Marie’s, participants consume 4 donuts (competitive division), 3 donuts (noncompetitive), 6 donut holes, OR nothing at all before making their way back the 2 miles to the start/finish area.

Registration includes the delicious donuts or donut holes from Marie's Donuts, t-shirt, & one-of-a-kind finisher's award.

Donations support the Child Life Programs at Sutter Children's Center & UC Davis Children's Hospital. Thanks to your support, over $1.8 million has been donated to these two programs from Donut Dash 501c3 since 2009!!!

Registration pricing remains unchanged 9+ years. Required by CA law, pricing below includes processing charge (6.99% + $1.99 per participant).

FAQ's

What is the difference between a competitive and non-competitive participant?

Competitive participants will begin the event 15 minutes earlier (8:30 AM start) than all other participants (8:45 AM start). In order to be an official overall or category (men or women) winner, the participant must be registered in the “Competitive 4 donuts” category AND consume all 4 donuts at Marie’s before returning to the course. Competitive participants must be at least 16 years old on event day. Non-competitive participants will receive 3 donuts.

The EWWS, LLP Glazing Fast Challenge! Competitive participants that complete the 4 miles and 4 donuts in less than 50 minutes will receive a special medal!

Children 12 & under, are they free or do they need to register? Children 12 & under can participate for FREE but will NOT receive 6 donut holes, t-shirt, or finisher medal. Children 12 & under that register will receive the above.
