How do I confirm that I’m registered?

Your confirmation number and registered distance appear in your confirmation email. You can also view your registration from your Race Roster participant dashboard. If your registration was moved to Race Roster, use the unique claim link in the email from the Berkeley Half Marathon to connect it to your account.

How do I claim my registration?

Click the unique claim link in your Berkeley Half Marathon email. Sign in if you already have a Race Roster account. Otherwise, create an account using the email address associated with your registration. Claim links are unique and should not be shared.

Why isn’t my registration showing in my dashboard?

Make sure you are signed into Race Roster using the email address associated with your registration. If your registration was transferred into Race Roster, you must also use your unique claim link.

If it still does not appear, email customersupport@berkeleyhalfmarathon.com with your full name, registration email address, confirmation number if available, and registered distance.

How do I update my registration information?

Open your Race Roster participant dashboard and select the option to edit your registration. Available fields may include your contact information, shirt size, estimated finish time, and other participant details.

Can I change my race distance?

Yes. Distance changes can be completed through your Race Roster participant dashboard through 11:59 PM Pacific Time on October 10, 2026, subject to availability.

A $15 transfer fee applies. If you move to a more expensive distance, you must also pay the difference between your original registration and the current price of the new distance. If you move to a less expensive distance, the difference in price will not be refunded.

Can I transfer my registration to another person?

Yes. You can initiate a person-to-person transfer through your Race Roster dashboard through 11:59 PM Pacific Time on October 10, 2026.

A $15 transfer fee applies. The new participant will receive instructions to complete their registration information.

Can transfers be completed after October 10?

No. Online distance changes and person-to-person transfers close at 11:59 PM Pacific Time on October 10, 2026.

Which distances qualify?

The Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K qualify at both The San Francisco Marathon and the Berkeley Half Marathon. You may complete any qualifying distance at each event.

Do I need to submit proof or register separately for the Challenge?

No. Eligibility is matched automatically. You do not need to submit results, complete a separate form, or contact customer support.

Eligible runners will receive an SF/Berkeley Challenge medal in November.

Are group discounts available?

Yes. Groups of 10 or more runners receive a 20% registration discount for the Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K.

Groups of 20 or more runners also receive a group tent at the Finish Line Festival.

How does my group get started?

Before registering, the group organizer should email customersupport@berkeleyhalfmarathon.com with the group or organization name, estimated number of runners, expected race distances, organizer’s name and email address, and expected registration timeline.

The Berkeley Half Marathon team will provide the group’s registration instructions. Creating or joining a Race Roster team does not automatically apply the group discount.

When will packet pickup and bib information be available?

Packet-pickup dates, locations, bib instructions, transportation information, and other race-week logistics will be emailed to registered runners closer to the event.

Please rely on the 2026 runner communications rather than information from previous race years.

When will fundraising information be available?

Registered runners will receive additional information about fundraising opportunities and how to manage fundraising through Race Roster.
