Raise money for Community Living & Respite Services
Your fundraising is supporting Community Living & Respite Services 'Opening Doors Project'.
The Opening Doors Project is an innovative housing project which to date has built three houses and 12 units in Echuca Moama for people with disability.
These projects were completed and opened in 2014, 2017, 2020, 2022 and 2023. The critical design focus of the projects is to provide residents with more control over their home environment, increasing independence and reducing reliance on staff support.
CLRS is currently raising funds to purchase a block of land to build our 6th Opening Doors Project and funds raised from Run Echuca Moama will be going towards the purchase of land.
Thanks to your support, our Opening Doors Projects have enabled 22 people with disability to live independently in their community and we are looking forward to more people being able to benefit from this project.
