- When is packet pickup?
- Friday at RC Outfitters (311 SW Water Street, FL-1, Peoria, IL) from 11:00am-6:00pm
- Saturday at Lower Glen Oak Park 3:30pm-5:00pm
- IMPORTANT: Packet pickup CLOSES at 6:00pm
- If you plan to start your prediction run after 6:00pm you MUST pick up your packet before!
- What event swag will I receive?
- All runners receive a long-sleeve race shirt
- Full Marathon and Half Marathon participants ALSO receive a Yellow Bear quarter zip
- Yellow Bear quarter zips are available for purchase during online registration
- What is the proper attire?
- Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged!
- Sparklee Body Art will begin at 4:00pm to complete your Halloween look
- Where do I park?
- Woodruff Career & Technical Center - 1800 NE Perry Ave, Peoria
- What time does my race start?
- 6.55 Mile MUST Start at 6:00pm
- 2 Mile MUST Start at 6:15pm
- The Marathon and Relay start at 4:00pm
- The Half Marathon starts at 6:00pm
- Can I bring spectators to cheer me on? Is there a fee for them to watch?
- Yes. Of course! They can watch you run in lower Glen Oak Park
- There is no fee for spectators
- Will I need a headlamp?
- YES. Headlamps ARE REQUIRED for the Marathon, Marathon Relay, and Half Marathon
- Headlamps are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED for the 6.55 Mile
- Headlamps are not required for the 2 Mile Run/Walk
- Headlamps are available for purchase during online registration and will be available at packet pickup (as supplies last)
- How is the course marked?
- The entire course is marked with cones and turn arrows
- The entire course is ALSO marked with glowsticks ~ approximately every 5-10 feet
- GREEN = You are on the CORRECT PATH
- KEEP GREEN glowsticks on your RIGHT
- If you see GREEN glowsticks on BOTH the RIGHT and LEFT SIDES = 2-WAY Traffic
- RED = Please be careful of HAZARD
- AVOID RED glowsticks
- If you see RED glowsticks USE CAUTION (examples: pothole, tree root, etc.)
- Will I be chased by anything?
- NO. You will not be chased by anything.
- Will there be on-course water/nourishment?
- Yes. There will be water and Lemon-Lime Gatorade at the cemetery Aid Station
- IMPORTANT: The 2 Mile Run/Walk
- There will be GU Roctane Energy Gels (flavor Sea Salt Chocolate) available at packet pickup and at the cemetery Aid Station
- Yes. There will be water and Lemon-Lime Gatorade at the cemetery Aid Station
- Do I have to be off the course by 10:00pm?
- YES. Marathoners, Marathon Relay Teams, and Half Marathoners will not be allowed to start another loop after 9:15pm
- Are there finisher medals?
- Yes. Finisher medals are awarded to 6.55 Mile, Full Marathon, Marathon Relay, and Half Marathon finishers at the finish line
- Will there be post-race food?
- Yes. All participants have a food ticket on their bib which is redeemable for a hot dog or pork chop meal at the Tony's On Wheels food truck on race evening. Full menu items will also be available for purchase.
