Online Registration has closed! We will have on-site registration Friday, April 10, at the Lily Pad from 10:30am - 5:30pm at our Packet Picket-up on the patio. We will also have on-site registration on Saturday, April 11, from 3-5:15pm at the green space infront of Methodist Rehab in Ridgeland.
We hope you will join us to support disability awareness + raise funds for operating costs for The Lily Pad Cafe by participating in the 14th Annual Leap 4 The Lily Pad on April 11, 2026 at the Methodist Rehabilitation Center Green Space in Ridgeland, MS!
ALL proceeds will go towards operational costs of The Lily Pad Cafe and will also help keep the Lily Pad Training Program FREE to all students/interns. The Lily Pad provides training and internship opportunities for adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities. We equip these men & women with the tools necessary to obtain employment by local businesses so that they can not only achieve their full potential, but display to the community their abundant talents and abilities. Thanks to generous contributions like yours, we currently have 13 interns working at our cafe that opened in December 2024. These interns have come from 2 training academy sessions we’ve held to date. We are working to find employment within the community for a few of our interns who are ready to leap into their next job roles. Our 3rd session of The Lily Pad Training Academy Program will begin in Spring 2026. Our fundraising efforts allow us to keep the training program free to the students and their families.
The 14th Annual Leap 4 The Lily Pad will kick off at the green space in front of Methodist Rehab in Ridgeland, MS with a fun run, a 5K run/walk, and a 0.0 race. Our Pepsi Food Tent is shaping up to one of our best featuring drinks courtesy of Brown Bottling Group + food from Bops Frozen Custard, Chicken Salad Chick, Flying Dolly's on the Rez, Froghead Grill, Lost Pizza Co., Mudbugs Burgers Brews BBQ, Primos Cafe, Wholly Smokes Catering, The Lily Pad!
Enjoy live entertainment provided by Faze4, a kids Play Pad sponsored by Amazon including a jump zones, toddler area, sensory tent, characters + much more!
