My Story…
This is my first race in over a year. I’ve been recovering from a rare condition in my knee called Osteochondritis dissecans (OCD), which was a huge unexpected setback. It’s been a tough road, but I’m excited to be back on my feet and running my first official 5k race! I’m running to prove that you can always make a comeback, no matter what happens. As a youth athlete, I learned that a setback is a set up for a stronger comeback! I’m also really thankful for my community at Main Street United Methodist Church (MSUMC); a group of us are doing this race together to support the cause! We are using this race to raise money for the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter (aka NSKS). They do awesome work helping people who are having a hard time getting enough to eat and finding a place to sleep. 🍎🍕 Please consider donating to help me reach my goal—it would mean a lot to me and to the people here in Nashua!
Donate to help Elijah raise money for 31st Annual NSKS Run & Walk for Food & Shelter’s fundraising campaign.
