Edithvale Fire Brigade

Edithvale Fire Brigade is a fully volunteer fire brigade that supports the local community with fire and rescue services.  In support of Ambulance Victoria, they are part of a crucial service where emergency medical response is provided to critically ill patients, plus a large range of broader emergency management support, advice and community education throughout the year. Our volunteer members comprise of residents of our local community and are trained to professional standards across the board. Each year our volunteers attend in excess of 300 emergency calls and provide state-wide support to major emergencies as and when required.

Although the much-publicised Fire Services Levy (FSL) does provide funding for minimum standard equipment including two of our four emergency vehicles, it does not fully fund the operations of your local fire brigade.

Your donation will assist by contributing to the purchase and maintenance of new equipment for our new fire station.
