Every Step in Remembrance
Join the Anzac Day Marathon, a meaningful virtual event running from April 1–25, where every kilometre honours our service men and women.
Run, walk, or do a combination of both as you accumulate 42.2km over 25 days — just 1.69km per day. Complete the distance your way: in 2 days, 10 days, or across the full 25 days. Track your kilometres from your street, your favourite park, or wherever your journey takes you.
🌍 Participate From Anywhere
This is the power of a virtual event — you can join from anywhere in Australia or around the world. Past participants have taken part from across QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, WA, SA and even Canada. We’re still waiting for someone from TAS and NT, so let’s make that the goal this year and spread the word. Everyone is welcome.

This event is about connection, remembrance, and awareness.
All proceeds are directly donated to the Runaway Bay RSL Sub Branch and nominated Gold Coast RSL branches, supporting local veterans.
Each participant receives a commemorative lapel pin in recognition of their achievement.

The Anzac Day Marathon began in 2016 as a personal remembrance run to honour a grandfather. What started with one person has grown into a community event supporting many Gold Coast veterans, connecting people through shared remembrance.
Because it’s not about the distance — it’s about the meaning.
