Thank you for choosing to support the Anzac Day Virtual Marathon and Marathon event. Your donation directly helps our three local Gold Coast RSL Sub Branches – Runaway Bay, Mudgeeraba Robina, and Burleigh Heads.
This year, we’re working towards an even bigger goal: extending our support to a fourth RSL Sub Branch on the Gold Coast. Every contribution, no matter the size, plays an important part in making that possible.
Funds raised through registrations, merchandise, sponsorships, and donations go straight into member welfare initiatives. Your support helps veterans and members stay connected, assisting with transport to meetings and events, bus trips, poppy services and even a pool table for members to enjoy and come together.
The event itself is a powerful tribute. After 25 days of running, it culminates in the Anzac Day Marathon, beginning at the conclusion of the Dawn Service at Runaway Bay. Participants make their way south, stopping at cenotaphs in Southport, Surfers Paradise, Burleigh Heads, Currumbin, and Elephant Rock, before arriving at the Coolangatta Tweed Heads RSL morning service.
