This Year's Races

8th Annual 5 Kilometer Race

Run Start: 8:05 AM, Sunday August 2nd, 2026
Location: Gimli Pavillion Park, East Side, Corner of Amisk and Fifth Avenue
Registration Fee: $35-50 (take advantage of early bird pricing)

Prizes awarded for 1st Place Male and Female Finishers

Virtual participants can run and enter their times starting from midnight on July 19th until midnight on August 3rd, 2026 in order for their results to be listed.

Our in person 5 kilometer race is the Gimli area event for the 4 part Interlake Run Series!

The Interlake Run Series offers four running events around Manitoba's beautiful lake area between Lake Winnipeg and Lake Manitoba.

Run in the in person 5 kilometer race and 3 other scenic races to win points and prizes!

35th Jan's Memorial 1 Mile Fun Run

This event is meant to be a fun and accessible challenge! Registration is possible on race day. Come one, come all!

Run Start: 8:30 AM,Sunday August 2nd, 2026
Race Day Registration: 7:55 - 8:25 AM, Sunday August 2nd, 2026

58TH ANNUAL 10 MILE ROAD RACE

Your long distance Manitoba summer race.

This is one of Manitoba's premier road running events that is accredited by the Manitoba Running Association (MRA) and Athletics Canada.

Our ten mile road race is an excellent summer tune up for runners competing later in longer distances or for runners looking for a challenge. This race is the longest race on the MRA’s calendar for July and August.

The route essentially has been unchanged for the past 50 years; fast, flat, and usually hot. Run the course and become a warrior!

Run Start: 8:00 AM, Sunday August 2nd, 2026
Location: Winnipeg Beach to Gimli on Hwy #9
Registration Fee: $45-65 (take advantage of early bird pricing)

Age Group Awards (Top Male & Female, First Place Finishers):

• 19 & under
• 20 to 29
• 30 to 39
• 40 to 49
• 50 to 59
• 60 to 69
• 70 plus!
