Whangarei Open Chess Tournament
School and Open sections are run on separate days:
Saturday 10am-2.30 School section, 10 minutes per player per game
Sunday 9am-5pm Open section, 25 minutes per player per game
Seven-round 'Swiss' pairings (matches you to similar players)
Venue: Whangarei Bridge Club, 17 North Street, Woodhill, Whangarei (off Maunu Road, cityside just before Western Bypass)
Free Schools entry, $20 Open entry
Pre-registration required, entries close Friday 23 January 10am
Drinks & fruit provided; BYO snacks or bakery across Maunu Road
