My Story…
Hello everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well. I’m happy to share that I am, too—I’ve now been cancer-free for one year, and I’m hopeful for many more healthy years ahead. It’s been a bit of a roller coaster, but overall, things are going well. I still receive infusions every three weeks, but they’re manageable, and the added steroids give me a boost of energy for a few days afterward.
Jodi’s Race for Awareness is coming up on Saturday, June 13th at 8:30 a.m., and I’ll be participating again this year. In past years, I placed 2nd and 3rd, and while I trained, hoping to take 1st this time, I’ve decided to ease up the pressure. I may even walk the mile with friends—I haven’t fully decided yet. What matters most to me now is enjoying the moment and focusing on what’s truly important: staying healthy and surrounding myself with people I love and who love me in return.
