Hike for Her 2026 is a global day of action bringing people together around the world to support women and girls in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
On May 30, 2026, participants will hike in their own local communities—on trails, in parks, or in urban spaces—while standing in solidarity with women and girls working to build confidence, leadership, and opportunity through Ascend’s programs.
Why We Hike
Women and girls in Afghanistan and Pakistan face increasing barriers to education, health, and leadership opportunities. Ascend provides women-led programs focused on mental wellbeing, leadership development, community engagement, and economic opportunity—helping girls and women build the skills and confidence to shape their own futures.
Hike for Her is a way to take action—wherever you are—by turning movement into meaningful impact.
How It Works
Register as an individual hiker or join a team

Fundraise to support Ascend’s programs (suggested goal: $250)
Celebrate being part of a global movement for women and girls

Teams are encouraged to set a shared fundraising goal of $2,000, but every contribution makes a difference.
