Elite Energy Volunteer Page
- Volunteers are the heartbeat of every Elite Energy Running and Triathlon event. From cheering athletes across the finish line to helping create a safe, exciting, and unforgettable race-day experience, our volunteers play a vital role in making each event possible.
Whether you’re passionate about fitness, love being part of the community, or simply want to experience the energy and excitement of race day from the inside, volunteering with Elite Energy is an incredibly rewarding experience. You’ll meet amazing people, support athletes of all ages and abilities, and be part of an atmosphere filled with motivation, teamwork, and achievement.
No experience is necessary — just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to get involved. There are plenty of roles available, from course marshals and aid stations to registration support and finish-line celebrations.
Volunteering is also a great way to give back to the endurance sports community, gain event experience, build confidence, and have a lot of fun along the way. Many of our volunteers come back year after year because of the friendships, memories, and sense of purpose they gain from being part of the Elite Energy family.
Join us and help create incredible race-day moments that athletes will never forget.
Registration: Checking in athletes and providing them with their race bib and merchandise. Computer knowledge is required as all check-ins are completed electronically
Course: Assisting athletes with course direction. This may include ensuring athletes turn at the correct points, helping the public understand courses, road closures, and cheering athletes on throughout the course.
Pedestrian Control: Helping spectators and the general public move safely across the course at designated crossing points to ensure the safety of both athletes and the community.
Finish Line: Assisting athletes and cheering them on as they cross the finish line.
Recovery: Supporting athletes post-event by offering hydration and food. This role may include cutting fruit, filling cups and assisting with food handling. It is a fast-paced area but a very rewarding role.
Aid Station: Supporting athletes during the event by offering hydration and food. This role may include filling cups and handing them to runners.
