Jordan’s Run the Runway, presented by Siskinds LLP, is a one-of-a-kind 5K run, walk, roll, or pole. This event celebrates the life and legacy of Jordan Strickland, whose passion for the Y and fostering community inspired this incredible fundraiser!
This event is open to participants of all ages and abilities, offering an unforgettable evening of fun and celebration. Can’t make it in person? Virtual participation options are available so you can support the event from anywhere.

VIRTUAL 5K Run/Walk/Roll
Looking to do the 5K race on your own schedule and at your own location of choice? This is the event for you! Support a great cause while doing something great for your health. You can use any app to track your time such as RunKeeper, or if you prefer a more laid back approach just post your results on our results page or a selfie our FaceBook page when you are done - no time required! Walking/Urban Poling (5K)

This category is restricted to those who will be walking or urban poling the entire event. Running is not permitting in the race walk category. To qualify for prizing, you must be walking. If you will be doing a combination of running and walking please register for the "Runway 5K Run" event. Must bring your own poles if you are using poles. Strollers are welcome. Please note: Registration prices displayed include all fees and charges.

About Jordan
Jordan Strickland inspires the 13th Annual Jordan’s Run the Runway at Fanshawe College Norton Wolf School of Aviation and Aerospace Technology and the London International Airport. Thanks to all of you… old and new friends, family, and others connected to us and each other through Jordan, who continue to make this event such a success! Together we have raised over $1.3 million for YMCA Camp Queen Elizabeth. Jordan would SO love this party!
Jordan loved new adventures, and he was not afraid to try anything. One of the things he loved most in life was going to YMCA Camp Queen Elizabeth on Beausoleil Island, where he attended many summers as a camper, and nine years as a volunteer counsellor.
CQE terrain is not what would be considered easy to traverse, and was a challenge to Jordan’s mobility, but he always managed to get anywhere he needed to with the support of the many amazing young men and women there. It is doubtful that he missed any opportunities and his enthusiasm was contagious! Rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, body surfing on the rapids, hiking, swimming, out tripping… Jordan looked forward to and was a part of all of it. Because of the Y’s and CQE's inclusive philosophy, Jordan and others who may have physical or other challenges have always been welcomed to share the same awesome camp experience as any other kid, with whatever support it takes to make that happen.
Many, many children and future camp leaders who couldn’t typically afford to go are supported by the Strong Kids Campaign to attend CQE, and we want this to continue as part of Jordan’s story for many years to come. Jordan would be turning 40 this year, and we are so grateful for the many friends he met over the years, and who he introduced to us.
Thank you so much for Running the Runway to remember our amazing Jordan, and also for his CQE and Siskinds families and friends.

This is a flat and fast certified 5K, chip timed event. You can run, walk, roll or pole!
Course will begin and end on the Runway of the Fanshawe College Norton Wolf School of Aviation and Aerospace Technology.
