ROLES ON OFFER
A range of duties are available to assist including:
- Oncourse Marshalls - Deployed to a position on the course, ensuring that participants follow the approved course in a safe manner
- Medals Presentation - Awarding participants as they cross the line with their medal
- Drinks Station Attendants - Assist with the distribution of drinks to participations as well as the set up and cleaning of the station area.
- Bib Collection - Assist in the race number collection process, ensuring all participants receive their correct pack
SHIFT INFORMATION
Volunteer shifts will vary depending on the role and rostered position.
Race day shifts will begin between 5:00am – 7:00am (depending on the role)
Shifts will conclude approximately 1 hour after racing finishes
MEETING LOCATION
All volunteers will meet at:
📍 Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre - Workforce Room (Madison De Rozario Room)
This room is located under the grandstand, turning right down the hall next to the SOPAC reception area. Volunteers will then be deployed to their assigned location around Sydney Olympic Park.
