Main2Main is the first official community event to take place on the Ecusta Trail—an important milestone on a corridor our region has worked toward for many years. The name itself reflects the vision ahead: as the trail is completed in the coming years, this annual event will ultimately span from Main Street Hendersonville to future Main Street Brevard, bringing two vibrant communities together along one continuous, accessible greenway.
This inaugural Walk & Roll invites participants of all ages and abilities to enjoy the newly completed Hendersonville section of the trail at their own pace. Choose the distance that fits your day—a 1-mile, 5K, or full out-and-back experience. Gentle, staggered waves allow bikes, rollers, walkers, and runners to share the corridor safely.
The event begins and ends at the Hendersonville Visitors Center and concludes with a community celebration hosted by a local brewery partner. Registration includes an event shirt (until deadline), bib with beer ticket, and trail-supporter swag. All proceeds directly benefit Friends of Ecusta Trail, helping build momentum for the trail’s completion and long-term stewardship.
Main2Main is designed to become a signature annual tradition—one that honors the trail’s progress, brings neighbors together, and celebrates the shared commitment that continues to move the Ecusta Trail forward.
