Cohasset Rotary Club

Rotary International is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

The Cohasset Rotary Club is a part of Rotary International. For more than 60 years, the Cohasset club has provided thousands of hours of community service, hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships and other charitable donations.  Cohasset Rotary's biggest fundraiser is the Cohasset Road-Race-by-the-Sea.   We have proudly supported our local and international community thru Special Olympics, Cohasset Food Pantry, local Boy Scouts, Cohasset Historical Society, South Shore Arts Center, student college scholarships and the Appalachia Service project. International support has included medical projects such as eradicating Polio, peace projects, clean water and mission trips.

Internationally we are 1.2 million members strong, with representation in more than 160 countries with over 35,000 clubs on six continents. Since the  founding in 1905, Rotary International has been dedicated to world peace and helped with the formation of the United Nations.

The name Rotary came from the early practice of “rotating” meetings between the offices of the few members.
