My Story…
This year I will be coming off shoulder surgery, but I'm still getting my miles in, even if at a snail's pace. Countless people battle the stigma associated with mental illness every day. Many feel lost, afraid to speak up or ask for help, struggling each day to find their way through. It is our goal to help overcome the stigma by raising awareness and giving those in the fight the tools they need to make it to tomorrow, to the next day, and to every day after. I have been that person, and I know how hopeless it can feel. I fought alone for many years. Running was my only solace. This group has brought me support like I've never known. Please consider helping us move forward, by joining our streak, making a small monetary donation, forwarding this to a friend/family member who can help, or any or all of the above. Each additional person streaking with us and every dollar raised bring us closer to changing the way people view mental illness and undoubtedly helps save lives.
