Alex Surf Club has been protecting this stretch of coastline since 1924. For more than 100 years, our volunteers have stood between the flags, watching the water so our community and visitors can enjoy it safely.
Every dollar raised supports surf lifesaving patrols, emergency response equipment, youth development programs and our 500-strong Nippers community. We’re more than a club on the beach, we’re a self-sustaining community institution powered by locals looking after locals.
