Black Diamond Afterglow Twilight Trail Run puts the 'funk' into trail running. And the glow. And bad taste - or good taste - dress sense depending on how you look at it and your view of fashion. And of course there's the running!

This funky twilight-into-night run takes you along the Surf Coast Walk from Point Addis past world-famous Bells Beach to Torquay where it's as much about the glow, the neon, the wigs, the funk fashion, and the retro DJ tunes as it is about the trail running.
A perfect first trail or night run with a celebratory vibe as the perfect fun run to end the year on a glowing high!
And all to raise awerness and funds for a great cause - the Sexual Assault and Family Violence Centre in Geelong, doing amazing work on the frontline of dealing with gender based and family violence. The event is also part of the State Government's Respect Victoria campaign, "16 Days of Activism".
For every runner who gets their nails painted in solidarity when they pick up a bib, we will donate $5 to the cause ourselves PLUS you can use your run to fundraise for the cause via SAFV MyCause page or donate when you enter.

Afterglow Event Cause
Afterglow is part of RESPECT VICTORIA'S 16 Days of Activism and aligned to raising funds and aware for the Sexual Assault and Family Violence Centre in Geelong.
As part of proceedings, we are encouraging everyone to come along to bib pick up and get their fingernails painted in bright colours - yes, you fellas especially. For every person who gets into the spirit of things by painting their fingernails for race day, we will donate $5 to the cause ourselves. These finds will go towards critical frontline services and programs managed by SAFV.

We are encouraging participants to set up their own MyCause Fundraising Page to raise money for the Sexual Assault and Family Violence (SAFV) Centre in Geelong, with funds going towards direct frontline intervention services and preventative programs that help make life safer for women experiencing gender-based violence across Western Victoria.
