We are excited to welcome runners back for the fourth annual CMV Canada Half Marathon in 2026! What began as a single, powerful act of awareness has grown into a community event dedicated to shining light on congenital CMV, the leading infectious cause of infant disability in Canada.
All participants will receive a high-quality commemorative medal, and the post-race celebration will feature refreshments and a lively atmosphere.

⏰ Start Times:
Please note the updated time change due to the forecasted heat.
- Half Marathon: 7:30 am
- 5 km & 10 km: 7:45 am
📍 Location: Whittier Park, 836 Rue St. Joseph, St. Boniface (Look for the MRA arch to spot the start/finish line.)

🏃 Bib pick-up: Big Sky Run Co., 194 Taché Avenue, on Thursday, July 9, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. If you are unable to make it during this time, please plan to arrive early on race morning to pick up your bib.
⏱️ Timing: This race will be manually timed. There are no chip timing systems in the bibs.
⚠️ Note: This year, the course is not certified, so the event is not included in the Manitoba Runners' Association Classic Race Series.
After the race, stick around for snacks, music, and a small medal ceremony to celebrate your achievement. (Every finisher will receive a medal!)
