Celebrate International Women’s Day with us at Moving HER Forward: A Community Run, presented by Magee-Womens Research Institute. This special morning brings our community together to recognize and uplift women, support women in running and walking, and create a welcoming space for everyone - whether you’re logging miles, moving at your own pace, or simply joining to celebrate.

What to Expect

👟 Local Female-Led Running & Walking Clubs
Connect with Steel City Womens Collective and other inspiring women-led groups as they lead warm-ups and help guide participants throughout the run and walk options. It’s a great opportunity to meet others who share a passion for movement and community.

✨ Run & Walk Options
Participants can choose between 3- and 6-mile routes, with a walking option available for the 3-mile distance. Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering others on, there’s a way for everyone to be involved.

🖤 Gear Up with 4RUN2
Visit the 4RUN2 area to shop our exclusive 4RUN2 x Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation apparel item. This year’s featured piece is a pink pullover, available for onsite pickup if you pre-ordered, with a limited number available for purchase at the event.
