A fun Halloween, zombie-themed running event with a twist!
Instead of keeping up with the pacers, your job is to beat the zombie pacers.
Select the 5K or 10K time you want to beat, as this will determine your wave start time.
Keep your pace, or lose your race!
If you beat the zombie pacer, you will receive a one-of-a-kind SURVIVOR medal. If the zombie pacer for your wave finishes before you, you will receive a ZOMBIE/INFECTED medal.
This one-of-a-kind event is sure to attract many people, from runners chasing a PB to walkers and families just out for an hour of Halloween spooky fun!
This is a no-contact running event.

Transfers
1.1. It is possible to transfer your entry to a friend or family member up to 1 week before the event date. Please use the ‘Name or Distance Transfer’ link on Race Roster or get in touch with zombierunaustralia@gmail.com with your name and the email address of the person you are transferring to. Distance or Name Transfers are charged a $15.00 admin fee.
1.2 It is possible for a competitor to change event distances up until the event day. There will be no refunds for a downgrade in course distance. Course upgrades will incur the difference in the current entry fee. Please get in touch with zombierunaustralia@gmail.com to get this processed.
1.3 Participant transfers are not available on the day of the event; you will be able to transfer to a shorter distance if required before the event.
Refunds
2.1. For all events, entry fees are fully refundable (less a $15 admin fee) up to 8 weeks before the event, 75% refundable between 6-8 weeks before the event, 50% up to 4-6 weeks before the event, and 25% between 2-4 weeks. No refunds will be given less than 2 weeks before the event. No refunds will be provided for merchandise purchases.
2.2 No refunds for merchandise within 1 month of the event (from 27 September at 11:59 PM)
2.3. No refunds will be given within 14 days of the event start date under any circumstances.
Event Postponements / Cancellations
3.1. If the event has to be postponed or cancelled due to weather conditions, natural disaster, acts of God, terrorism, or any other reason so deemed by Zombie Run Australia, all efforts will be made to reschedule the event. All entries will be automatically transferred over to the new date. If the event is rescheduled and you are unable to make the new date, no refunds will be given. You will have the option to transfer your entry to the following year’s event.
3.2. Where an event can not be rescheduled, committed contractors will be paid, and remaining funds will be offered as partial refunds or donated to charity. Where an event is not fully cancelled or rescheduled, and the participant chooses not to race, they will not be entitled to a refund.
3.3. You will be notified of any postponements or cancellations by email, social media, and announcements will be made on the home page of this site. Please note that the event will not be postponed or cancelled due to rain. Race organisers will review the site conditions if required in the days before the event.
