The Donkey Sanctuary's mission is to provide a lifelong home to donkeys, mules and hinnies that are unwanted, neglected or abused, or whose owners can no longer care for them; and to promote the responsible stewardship of all animals through humane education. They envision a world in which the dignity and worth of all creatures are recognized and respected.

I strongly share these values, and it means a lot to me to have set this goal both as a runner and as a fundraiser. I have set a fundraising goal of $500 (5 for 5K) and would be so grateful if you would consider donating.

  • No need to add your name if you're not comfortable doing so; you can donate anonymously.
  • No amount is too small! Small & daily actions add up. (Like running)
  • If you're not able to donate, no pressure (it's rough out there, trust me, I know). I'd really appreciate it if you would share this fundraiser with anyone who might be interested in donating.

If we do manage to hit $500... keep it going! Last year the sanctuary raised ~$30,000. I would love to contribute as much as possible.
