Deana Eckert lost her mom to Dementia in 2021, and the Alzheimer's Assoication was very close to her heart. In 2023 following the shooting, the Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter dedicated their community room to her, titling it the "Deana Eckert Community Room."
The Alzheimer’s Association Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter provides support services, care options and education for families and caregivers throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
