Kids' 200m

Untimed Fun Run. Parents/guardians who want to run with their children can register for the 200m; or, if they participate in the timed events, they can run in the 200m without registering or paying.

Future Runner (Stroller Occupant)

Strollers and their passengers are free, and must be registered through this system. In the event, they must be accompanied (pushed) by a participant in a different sub-event.

Registration Policy

Refunds are not available, but deferrals and transfers are outlined in the waiver that each participant agrees to upon registration. For any help or clarification, the only channel available to participants is to email registrationpolicy@runwaterloo.com. This is the only inbox where registration policy questions are received, and we reply quickly with information and address concerns.

Race course

Here is the Strava route for the 2 mile. The 5 mile starts halfway through this loop and then completes two more complete loops. All running is counterclockwise. There is a water station at the finish line, so 5 milers hit this twice during the race. At the finish line, the right lane is for finishing and the left lane is for continuing for another loop.

Participants at The Runway (all distances) are guaranteed a finisher medal (2026 design to be released; 2025 pictured). Participants also have the option to purchase the pictured t-shirts during registration, while supplies last. Themed stickers are available for free on a first-come basis at kit pickup.
