START TIMES
- Kids Fun Run: 8:30 am
- 5K Runners & Walkers: 9:00 am sharp
- 1.5K Stroll: 9:00 am sharp
LINING UP AT THE START
Please line up accordingly so everyone gets a clean, safe start:
- Faster runners — cue at the front
- Mid-pace runners — middle of the pack
- Walkers, strollers & pets — at the back
ON THE COURSE
- Roads on the route are NOT closed to vehicle traffic — stay alert at all times
- Traffic marshals are stationed at every intersection — follow their instructions
- Participants should stay as far left as possible on all roads, facing oncoming traffic
- On Sykes Street: run only in the marked parking lane on the east side, with pylons to your right and the sidewalk to your left
PARKING
- For those who can – please consider walking to the event as onsite parking is very limited. See the map below for options. Please try to park BEFORE 8:40am.
BIB PICKUP
- Advance Bib pick-up on Friday July 10, 3pm – 7pm, Harbour Pavilion Parking Lot
- Race Day Bib pickup opens at 7:30 am at the Harbour Pavilion
HYDRATION & COMFORT
- Please bring a refillable water bottle — Quench Buggy will be onsite to refill
- Water stations are located along the route on Edwin St. and Eliza St.
- Washrooms are located in the lower parking lot of the harbour
POST-RACE

About The Meaford Harbour 5K Run/Walk
This milestone year promises to be one of the most memorable yet, as hundreds of runners, walkers, families with strollers and even some four-legged friends make their way through downtown Meaford and along the picturesque harbourfront.
For three decades, this event has brought residents and visitors together in support of the Foundation with the goal of keeping exceptional healthcare in our community. More than 500 participants took part last year. For the past 29 years, the run has supported the Brightshores Meaford Hospital Foundation thanks to the vision of Brian Renken, who took over what was then known as the Big Apple Race, and in 1997 transformed it into a fundraiser for the community to support local healthcare at Brightshores Meaford Hospital.
