Our story…
Team Koji was created by Koji Oka’s wife and family to honor his legacy of service to San Francisco’s Japantown community and JCYC. Koji passed away in May 2026, and JCYC always held a special place in his heart.
Your donation to Team Koji through the 2026 San Francisco Aloha Run supports JCYC’s scholarship programs for primarily low-income, first-generation college-bound students pursuing higher education.
Every gift helps carry Koji’s spirit of community forward and opens new doors for our youth.
