Welcome to a new road race frontier!!

Come run at one of only 14 FAA-licensed spaceports in the United States, where the USAF Thunderbirds train, and the site where New Mexico became the third state in the nation to send humans to space.

Spaceport America is the world’s first purpose-built commercial spaceport, designed and constructed specifically for commercial users who had not previously been served by an airport or any federal infrastructure of any kind. New Mexico’s spaceport is located on 18,000 acres of State Trust Land in the Jornada del Muerto basin, 45 miles north of Las Cruces, N.M., and 20 miles southeast of Truth or Consequences, N.M. Some of the most respected companies in the commercial space industry are tenants at Spaceport America: Virgin Galactic, HAPSMobile/ AeroVironment, UP Aerospace, Swift Engineering, SpinLaunch, Prismatic Ltd., a subsidiary of BAE Systems, and Hermeus.

What you need to know:

With this event being held in a secure area we will cutoff registration Saturday May 2nd to have our participant list submitted to the Spaceport security.

We encourage everyone to please do their best to make one of the Packet Pickups to help with front gate traffic coming in race morning.

All events will start on time and you will need to present your ID at front gate race morning.

All Participants will receive a custom-designed Space Race Shirt and a finisher's medal.

Guaranteed Shirt Size Deadline Monday April 28th.

After this date you may or may not have your exact size available when registering.

Available sizes left Med, Large, X-Large, 2XL, 3XL

If your size is not available please choose another size and we will try to exchange at the end of the event Saturday.

• Saturday Race Day Packet Pickup / Check-in: Starts at 7 a.m. Race Day Location and Closes 5 minutes before each race start.
• 7:55 National Anthem
• 8:00 a.m. 15K Run Start
• 8:10 a.m. 10K Run/Walk Start
• 8:20 a.m. 5K Run/Walk Start
• Where: Race Start / Finish and race day packet pickup, Spaceport America Address: Co Rd A021, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901
• What: Run or walk in any event, 3-hour time limit for 15K
• We realize this is Mother's Day weekend, so all Moms will be recognized with flowers at the finish line.
• The event is stroller-friendly
• Awards to the top 3 male and female overall winners and age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over
