6a6994c8c4b43.pngThe Wild Earth Coastal High Trail Run is an epic event located in the iconic and spectacularly picturesque Gold Coast Hinterland; enjoying the trails contained within the pristine, World-Heritage listed Lamington and Springbrook National Parks: the Wild Earth Coastal High includes the best trails that South-East Queensland has to offer, with THREE race distance offerings for this year; the iconic 50k, now in its 12th year, the 28k Coastal High Crunch and the new 7km 'Purlingbrook Push'.

Race entry for the 50km and 28km events includes a PERSONALISED technical race tee or this year - a SINGLET option (if you enter before June 4), FREE race photos (a new addition in 2026), bus transfer, wicked aid stations, electronic timing, partner discounts, a finishers medal like no other AND a surprise finishers gift on race day.

Wild Earth Coastal High Crunch

  • The Crunch packs a punch, it has most of the challenging elements of the Coastal High 50; including an uphill start, the long descent to Numinbah, the iconic stairs to Apple Tree Park, the dive down to Little Nerang Creek and then the long ascent past Purlingbrook Falls to the race finish at Springbrook. But that’s not to say it isn’t spectacular; with a mix of terrain from the road start, the technical single track along the awe-inspiring Caves Circuit, the quad crunching descent through the gums to Numinbah Valley, the rainforest patches as you climb to Springbrook - this will not be the ‘easy’ option!

  • The Wild Earth Coastal High 50 sees runners traverse spectacular trails through sub-tropical rainforest, open forest, and along cliff tops within Lamington National Park, before descending down into the Numinbah Valley and then climbing up (then down, then up!) to finish adjacent to the magnificent Purlingbrook Falls in Springbrook National Park.
