Welcome to the 2026 Murray Bridge Running Festival

Sunday November 1st will be the 8th annual running of our event and again our Halloween edition! The course starts and finishes by the Bunyip at Sturt Reserve taking in the River Cities highlights whilst hugging the River. A Bridge closure is in place where all runners gets to run over the first bridge to span the Murray river. Run the riverside esplanade, reserve, Bridge St, and the first bridge to span the Mighty Murray! This is a stunning course and not to be missed.
Race Director’s Note: Unfortunately, we’ve had to remove the Marathon Distance from the 2026 event because of construction works on the levee banks. The marathon distance will return in 2027.
The 5km event will be our Monster Mash Fun Run, where kids can dress up and get amongst the fun of Halloween!
