The Run for the Hills 5K / 10K along with the optional FREE 1K Kid Fun Run is a community road race (with a little bit of gravel trail) scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2026, in Hill City, South Dakota. This is a run that will take participants on an adventure to each of the parks in Hill City, with the start and finish being at Tracy Park. This event is designed as a fundraiser for Heart for the Parks, an initiative dedicated to improving and updating Hill City’s parks and green spaces. With your registration, you will receive a sweet pair of running socks!
