Important Information
  • The Fun Run/Walk is not a timed event, and no awards will be given.
  • 5K runners who register by June 1 are guaranteed a race T-shirt, race bag, and timing chip.
  • All participants will receive a race bag.
  • Any changes made to a registration after June 1 will incur a $5 change fee.
About the Event
Grab your running shoes and your four-legged running buddy and hit one of Carrollton’s best assets — the hike and bike trails — in support of Carrollton Animal Services & Adoption Center.
Don’t have a dog? Your new best friend is waiting for you at the Adoption Center.
After the race, enjoy a post-race celebration featuring the awards ceremony and music.

Support Without Running
If you would like to support Carrollton Animal Services but are unable to participate, donations of the following items are welcome:
  • Purina Dog Chow
  • Special Kitty Cat Chow
  • Non-clumping kitty litter
  • Cleaning supplies
Donations will be accepted at Carrollton Animal Services and both recreation facilities.

69dfb73433fef.pngThe race starts and finishes at the red dot near Josey Ranch Sports Complex. Runners head southwest to a turnaround at mile marker 1, then run north toward the lake, passing mile marker 2 near the start/finish line. A short off-trail section includes a slight hill leading up toward the lake. Runners will continue around the lake, then return through the off-trail section back to the finish line.
